Congrats to Captain MATS SUNDIN who scored his 500th career goal on Saturday, October 14th, 2006 vs the Calgary Flames. Mats sundin not only captured this long awaited milestone, 
but he captured it also with a Hat Trick!, and not to mention the Game Winning Goal! and not mention he ALSO scored this goal Short-Handed in OT. The leafs captain has played 1161 NHL season career games. He has 500 Goals,675 Assist, 1175 points. Will this be it for Sundin and milestones? or will he cruise to get a 700 career assist milestone? Regardless of what happens, Us Leafs fans are thankful for #13 Mats Sundin, and we can only hope for the best for the rest of his hockey career. You just never know, the Leafs could pull out a stanley cup for the Maple Leafs, you just never know .. Im super proud of Mats Sundin.Hes been loya to our Leafs organization in so many ways, he's a great center. I just hope that before he leaves the NHL, that he wins a stanley cup. I truely dont care where he gets it, but with the career that he has put on, he deserves it!
